On 25 June 2020 a list was put into circulation by @predatorsonblast pushing for individuals in the dance industry to be investigated, confronted and held to account for predatory behaviour. A member of Rain Crew was named on that list.
As mentioned in our Statement on 26 June 2020 we do not take allegations such as this lightly and subsequently launched an investigation into the matter.
CONCLUSION OF INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION
After the thorough investigation detailed below, no evidence or further information has been found to support the recent accusations and the investigator has concluded that there are “no concerns with regards to the accused Warren Gordon-Powell”
Rain Crew are satisfied all avenues and resources have been exhausted in order to get to the bottom of this allegation and we support Warren’s position in our crew and organisation. Although the result of the investigation brings this specific matter to a close, there is much work to be done when it comes to eliminating harassment and sexual misconduct from our industry. We are determined to be at the forefront of that change and create safe spaces for everyone.
We will be publishing:
- Code of Conduct
- Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Policy
- Lessons learned: Whistle Blowing, Safe Spaces and Conducting Investigations
